About the master class
Allude’s “Repair before you replace” masterclass is an innovative educational initiative aimed at teaching sustainable fashion techniques such as art darning and proper care of cashmere knitwear. Since its founding in 1993, Allude has been committed to producing exquisite cashmere knitwear. Since 2015, Allude has been running the Allude Cashmere Clinic, where all brands of knitwear are cared for and repaired with a minimum content of 30%.
In this master class, our knitting experts and art knitters share their knowledge about the material cashmere and its preservation.
This masterclass is part of our commitment to extend the life of cashmere products by prioritizing care and repair over replacement.

It's helpful if you have some basic knowledge of knitting, but the masterclass is designed for learners of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
All necessary materials will be provided by Allude in the master class. If you wish, you can bring your favorite cashmere piece with you to be repaired.
The master class lasts 3 hours and consists of theoretical lessons as well as practical workshops to participate in. It takes place entirely on site at the Allude headquarters in Munich.
Yes, after completing the master class, participants receive a certificate that confirms the skills they have acquired in caring for and repairing cashmere.
Each masterclass is limited to a maximum of 10 people. Our knitting and darning experts attach great importance to personal support in order to impart as much knowledge as possible to all participants.
The participation fee for the Allude Masterclass “Repair before you replace” is €194.
