Award-winning: Silver Medal for our “Cashmere” Book
“I can’t change the world, but I can make it a bit more pleasant.” This motto by Andrea Karg encompasses everything we do at Allude – from the design of a collection to its production to our Cashmere Clinic and this magazine. To present cashmere at a full 360 degrees, drawing on as many senses as possible, and to discover ever new facets and innovative possibilities for presenting this amazing raw material – this is what the entire team works for every day, with all of their passion. There is no better symbol of this than our book Cashmere, the first comprehensive work on this fascinating topic, which at the same time gives an account of our own success story.
And this informative and magnificent coffee table book does not only appeal to readers; now a professional jury has determined that this pet project of Andrea Karg and her co-author Berit Grosswendt is outstanding. In the competition Best of Content Marketing of the eponymous congress – BCM in short – Cashmere has now won an award in the silver category. A great honour for a “brand book” that is both beautiful and sensitive and does not only document Allude and its heritage with emotional images and original sound bites by Andrea Karg but is also an extensively illustrated compendium about cashmere.
Creative Director Andrea Karg about winning the BCM Award in the silver category: “We are very proud that this work was awarded with such a prize. This is once more positive feedback for us, confirming that we have succeeded in presenting the Allude world and the most wonderful material in the world, cashmere, in an emotional and convincing way which matches our passion. My thanks go to Callwey Verlag, to all those who have contributed to making this book – and to the jury”.
More than ever and in all areas Allude thus stands for quality, lifestyle, creativity and emotions!
